The Slovenian indie power-trio Lelee presents their latest single and music video Životinje, announcing the release of their new album 'Mora malo u crveno', set to be released on November 8th, 2024, by Slovenian label Moonlee Records.

Životinje is the title track and a high-energy introduction to the upcoming Lelee album, revolving around playful riff variations and a powerful 'collectivist' chorus that brims with irresistible enthusiasm. It’s a truly exuberant indie revelry, calling for action!



The music video for Životinje is entirely the work of Belgrade artist Stefan Ćirić, who operates under the pseudonym Teardropz. He commented on the collaboration: „A big thank you to the Lelee team for allowing me to visualize their music and the message they convey. In today’s world, things have become strange and cruel. That’s why we rely on ourselves and our loved ones to help us navigate this difficult path. Let’s work together to make this place we call home a better one.“

Životinje was recorded and mixed by Robi Bulešić at BearTracks Studio in Kočevje in Slovenia. Mastering was done by Carl Saff. English musician and producer Alastair McNeill, who has previously collaborated with artists such as Róisín Murphy, Honne, Yila, and Chris Eckman, features on keyboards.

The release party for Lelee's new album will take place on Friday, November 29th, 2024, at Gala Hala in Ljubljana, where they will be joined by the Macedonian post-punk youngsters Xarakiri. More concert dates will be announced soon.
