Soon after the vinyl reissue of their debut album 'I onda je sve počelo', croatian all-girl trio ŽEN once more join forces with Moonlee Records to release 'Blender' – compilation of remixes of ŽEN songs, in order to celebrate 10th anniversary of ŽEN.

Collection of artists who gave new life to ŽEN songs could hardly be more diverse: musician and producer Saša Rajković aka Zarkoff, music producer and techno DJ with a London address Andrea Giordani, synthwave duo Pocket Palma from Zagreb (formerly known as Side Project), all-round veteran of Zagreb scene Ivan Antunović aka Iv/An, music producer, DJ and icon of clubbing scene Jasmin Mahnić aka Le Chocolat Noir, music producer with a Berlin address and former member of Mimika Orchestra and Beat Busters Damjan Blažun aka Damjan Morello, french producer Paul Grandjean aka Genetik Dub with his experimental project Hikari No Oto, electro-pop duo Kimiko, and Sanja Šiljković from bands Lollobrigita and Shoxx, now known as SUN U.

Album 'Blender' was actually born years ago, after the release of the album 'Jantar', when Andrea Giordani, a versatile artist and a friend of the ŽEN, made her own version of the song Iskrenost je posebna. This opened the door for a completely different experience and perspective of ŽEN sound. On the occasion of the band's 10th anniversary, in addition to Andrea, ten other musicians produced their impressions and views on ŽEN songs from past three albums. These are all musicians, producers, and multidiscplinary artists with whom ŽEN interacted and interwined on the scene through years of friendship, concerts, jamming, listening to and playing music.

'Blender' is composed of nine different approaches to band's music, all of which uncompromisingly represent their author's characters and styles, while subtly, but clearly keeping the essence of the original. Although conceptually very different, these nine songs - many of which were created in conditions of lockdown and complete isolation – flow naturally into a comfortable whole.
